Project Original Modern

Client Manchester City Council

Design of a research paper and book, in collaboration with Manchester’s Creative Director Peter Saville, to define the concept of Manchester as the Original Modern City. Inspired by the approach of social scientists and behavioural economists, we developed an Original Modern criteria, translated into a functional infographic, against which we mapped exemplar individuals, groups and companies which demonstrated Original Modern thinking within the city.
